In many cases, problems are solved by checking these basics:
Are the labels correctly loaded?
1) Place the roll on the spool so the labels feed from below. Adjust the right side of the spool to fit snug against the roll (the cogwheel should be fitted into the roll). There should be no gaps visible between the base of spool the label roll and the right hand side of spool.
2) Insert the label spool into the printer. The Labelroll should be to the left side of the machine.
3) Insert the label into the feed slot so that it is touching the left hand side of the feeder mouth. Make sure the labels are facing downwards.
The LabelWriter will feed the labels through and stop at the end of the first label. If it doesn't, press the Multi-function button (found at the front of printer) and the printer will try again to find the beginning of the next label.
4) Close printer cover. Is the print head clean?
Together with the DYMO LabelWriter a cleaningcard was delivered.
Feed this card a few times through the LabelWriter.
