DYMO INDUSTRIAL is proud to announce the birth of a new handheld label
printer, the RhinoPRO 5000. The RhinoPRO 5000 is the second handheld
printer in the DYMO industrial product range and the first to carry the
new industrial productrange name. With the RhinoPRO 5000, DYMO wants to
offer the best “easy-to-use” handheld printer that has all the dedicated
features an installer needs to simplify his labelling job at an
affordable price with a complete list of specially developed industrial
materials. The RhinoPRO 5000 offers an industrial solution that can be
given to each installer in the field without having to spent a lot of
budget.
With the choice of changing to a new productrange name “ RhinoPRO” DYMO
wants to make a clear statement towards the market that the industrial
products are rugged and strong and are dedicated for industrial & harsh
environments.
The RhinoPRO 5000 is a versatile yet extremely easy-to-use industrial
handheld label printer indispensable to any installer in the field. No
complex menu settings to struggle through. Exclusive “quick access keys”
enable the installer to set up label formats for marking wire and
cables, patchpanels, modular components, outlets or barcode label by
pressing one single key. These very specific features are developed to
save the installer a lot of valuable time.
Dedicated symbol keys make it easy to include the most common used
electrical and datacom symbols to labels. 5 easy font sizes can be
selected and 8 memory locations are available to store most commonly
used words or text.
The possibility to select between 16 languages combined with the RACE
keyboard (Rapid Accented Character Entry) makes input of international
characters of the selected language simple. SMS style text input makes
it a convenient product.
The RhinoPRO 5000 will be offered in a box together with a bumper for
extra protection, a 19mm white flexible RhinoPRO industrial nylon tape
and manual in local language. The printer works on 6 AA batteries and
through an AC adapter, which can be obtained optionally. A rechargeable
battery pack is also offered as an option.
