Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

Windows Application Development

Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the architecture and implementation of DYMO products.
Specify, design, develop, test and debug software written in C#, C++ or Visual Basic as needed.
Work with others on the design, development, and testing of software components for use as part of DYMO products.
Investigate reported bugs in DYMO products and provide maintenance fixes as needed. components (modules, or DLL’s) for use as part of DYMO products.
Work with software QA lab and translation teams on testing and localization of DYMO products
Keep up with developments and technologies in supported and new OS's.
Keep up with development and technologies in supported and new OS's
Other work as deemed necessary

Qualifications:

Education: BS Computer Science or Equivalent

Experience: 5-10 years working for consumer software company

Licensure: None

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-discipline team environment that includes engineering, marketing, QA, documentation and project management.
Excellent design and coding skills (C#, C++, Delphi or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience in all phases of software development process (specification, design, coding, testing, localization, maintenance)
Strong understanding of Object Oriented & Design Patterns principles.
Excellent knowledge of Windows desktop application development (.NET, COM, STL, ATL, Delphi, Win32 programming).
Ability to grasp new technologies and development processes quickly.
Strong independent work ethic.
Knowledge of localization techniques is helpful.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with demonstrated success in a team environment.

Extras: Mac programming experience, knowledge of document imaging, printing, image editing a plus.
