WHAT’S A “WYSIWYG”? DYMO introduces a handy new feature on the next generation

DYMO® introduces the new generation of the LetraTag®, the Personal Labelmaker, with new user-friendly features. WYSIWYG technology – pronounced “Wizzy Wig” and short for “What You See Is What You Get” – will allow Personal Labelmaker users the ability to see exactly how their labels will look before they print. From bold to italic, small to medium fonts, everyone from the labeling enthusiast to the “organizationally challenged” has a great new tool at their fingertips.


 

When organizing the home or office, labelmaker users like the ability to use effects such as different fonts and point size, but want it to be as quick and easy as possible. In response to user feedback, DYMO has developed the exclusive WYSIWYG function, as well as a bigger screen for graphic display previews of font effects before printing. The four-way navigation button gives easy access to these advanced features.


 

Designed and packaged to be easily understood, engaging, and inviting, it reflects current customer demand for sleek, portable devices supporting today’s fast-paced lifestyles. The color-coded ABC style keyboard is designed to be an “adult-friendly” tool to help efficiently organize everything from files, photo albums, CDs, tools, shelves and storage containers to children’s toys and clothes.


 

“The DYMO Personal Labelmaker was designed to be as inviting and intuitive as possible. In addition to its new design and WYSIWYG, the DYMO Personal Labelmaker prints on a variety of labels for many uses. Labels come in different materials and colors – paper, plastic, iron-on, metallic and new magnetic labels. So, Mom can print a “Timmy” label on a paper label for his lunch bag, a magnetic label for the fridge, an iron-on label for his favorite t-shirt and a plastic label for his school supplies. DYMO’s Personal Labelmaker uses direct printing technology that requires no ink cartridge.

Two versions of the DYMO Personal Labelmaker – the LetraTag and LetraTag Plus will be in stores by this summer. The LetraTag Plus comes with two label cassettes and a magnetic holder that’s perfect for the fridge where it can always be at your fingertips. As back-to-school time approaches, Mom will have already found a million ways to use it.


 

Found in the office supply section in Wal*Mart, Target, and other retailers and in labeling sections in office supply stores, this is the perfect tool for home use.
