Color-coding your FilesA great way to stay organized in your office is to color-code your files
-- either by using different colored filing folders or different colored
labels themselves.
Create a system that makes sense to you. For example, use red for urgent
items. Green folders or labels can be used for utilities (that may even
remind you to choose sustainable energy companies!). Blue labels or
folders can be used to represent "cool" documents, or items that are not
needed as much, such as archived items.
Don't forget to label your CDs as well. The LabelManager and LabelPoint
label printers are able to create professional labels for CD jewel
cases. Everything form back-up files to your favorite office tunes can
be labeled for easy access.
The limit to effective filing is really only your own imagination, so
find a system that works for you and stick with it!
