Bon à savoir

Dans la plupart des cas, il suffit de vérifier les points suivants pour résoudre les problèmes :

1. Utilisez-vous les bonnes piles ?
- Les piles sont peut-être faibles.
- Il est recommandé d’utiliser uniquement des piles Duracell Alcaline avec les machines DYMO
- Les machines DYMO ne fonctionnent pas avec des piles de type carbone
- Toutes les piles utilisées dans les machines DYMO doivent être de la même marque
- Les vieilles piles ne doivent pas être utilisées en combinaison avec des nouvelles piles

2. La tête d’impression est-elle propre ?
Nettoyez la tête à l’aide de la brosse spéciale fournie avec l’étiqueteuse ou d’un coton tige imbibé de solvant doux (p. ex. de l’alcool).

3. La cassette est-elle correctement positionnée?
Poussez la cassette fermement dans le boîtier pour vous assurer qu’elle est bien fixée à la base.

General questions
- Is it necessary to refill the LetraTag with ink? (D990021)
  Refilling is not necessary because the LetraTag prints on direct thermal tape.
  
  The same technique is used by a fax machine printing on direct thermal paper rolls.
- What is the shortest and what is the longest label a LetraTag can print? (D990022)
  The shortest label (e.g. an empty label) is approximately 23 mm long. Shorter is not possible, in order to allow the user to easily take the label from the tape exit.
  
  The longest label can be achieved with a full buffer of characters (70 characters is the maximum) and with the widest character size. This will result in a label with an approximate length of 50 cm.
- Where to find serial numbers? (D000024)
  The serial number is printed on a white label. This label can be found in either the cassette compartment or in the battery compartment.
- Why do iron-on tapes not turn black while ironing? (d060015)
  The iron-on material is no direct thermal material, so the cassette also contains a carbon roll. The iron-on label is the only LetraTag label that works in this way. Due to the direct thermal transfer principe, the labels will not turn black when you iron them.
- In which font are the characters on a label printed by the LetraTAG? (D000073)
  The font is a custom made bitmap font that guarantees the highest legibility on DYMO labels. The font is comparable with the PC font 'Carinthium Medium'.
